Risk Assessment

Aims and Objectives

At the end of the course the candidate will be able to:

Demonstrate awareness of the 5 steps to Risk Assessment
Demonstrate understanding of what is meant by RIDDOR and how it needs to be implemented
Explain and identify hazardous substances in care homes governed by COSHH regulations
Understand the importance of inspections in the workplace
Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of need for management health and safety policy in the workplace
